Editorial Policy
Learn how BankSorter collects data, creates rankings, and ensures editorial independence.
Data sources
Bank product data (current accounts, savings accounts, loans, mortgages) comes directly from each bank's own official website. Unlike the Polish market, which runs a daily automated import from a partner API, Czech data is currently a one-time manual research pass from September 2026 — each product's source and any uncertainty is noted directly in the data, and it will be re-verified before the next major refresh.
Ranking methodology
Best-offer rankings for Czechia are not published yet. Once available, they will use the same methodology as BankSorter's other markets: monthly rankings — composite score (interest rate 50%, product badge count 30%, click popularity 20%); weekly and yearly rankings — descending nominal interest rate.
Editorial independence
No bank can purchase a higher ranking position. We do not accept payment for recommendations or for the removal or re-ordering of offers. We earn solely from click commissions (CPC) and submitted application commissions (CPL).
Update frequency
Until an automated import is running for the Czech market, data is updated manually in research waves. Each such update is recorded, and any pricing or condition changes are visible in the product's history.
Corrections and errors
Data errors are corrected within 24 hours of detection or reporting. Contact: contact@banksorter.com
